Winnebago Industries, Inc. specializes in the production and sale of recreational vehicles (RVs) and marine products, primarily catering to the leisure travel and outdoor recreation markets. The company's operations are divided into six distinct segments: Grand Design Towables, Winnebago Towables, Winnebago Motorhomes, Newmar Motorhomes, Chris-Craft Marine, and Winnebago Specialty Vehicles. Winnebago offers a diverse array of non-motorized towable recreational vehicles. These units, intended to be hitched behind personal vehicles such as automobiles, pickup trucks, SUVs, or vans, serve as temporary living quarters for leisure travel. Their offerings in this category include conventional travel trailers, fifth-wheel trailers, folding camper trailers, and truck campers, marketed under the Winnebago and Grand Design brand names. Its motorhome lineup features self-propelled mobile dwellings primarily utilized as temporary residences for vacation and camping excursions, or to support dynamic, mobile lifestyles. These distinct models are marketed under the Winnebago and Newmar brands. Expanding beyond its recreational offerings, the company constructs specialized commercial vehicles tailored for applications such as law enforcement command centers, mobile medical facilities, and portable office environments. It also supplies stripped-down commercial vehicle chassis to third-party customization firms. Under its marine segment, Winnebago develops and distributes recreational powerboats, primarily through its Chris-Craft and Barletta brands. Furthermore, the enterprise undertakes original equipment manufacturing (OEM), fabricating components for both other vehicle manufacturers and various commercial applications. Distribution of its diverse product portfolio occurs primarily through an extensive network of independent dealerships spanning the United States, Canada, and global markets. Established in 1958, Winnebago Industries, Inc. is headquartered in Forest City, Iowa.
