Orbit International Corp., established in 1957 and headquartered in Hauppauge, New York, specializes in the global design, production, and distribution of sophisticated electronic components, integrated subsystems, and diverse power solutions. Its clientele primarily consists of major contractors, governmental procurement bodies, and research and development institutions worldwide. The company operates through two distinct divisions: the Electronics Group and the Power Group. Its product portfolio encompasses remote control units, intercommunication systems, display interfaces, various input devices such as keyboards, keypads, and pointing devices, operator control panels, and command display units. This segment also delivers services for the design and improvement of LCD display modules. Conversely, the Power Group is responsible for designing and producing a wide array of power systems. These include standard commercial power units, AC power supplies, frequency converters, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), armament power systems, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) power solutions, and power inverters. Before its current designation, the company was known as Orbit Instrument Corp., officially changing its name to Orbit International Corp. in July 1991.
