These optical solutions feature coherent transponders, optical transport network switchers, wavelength-division multiplexers (WDM), reconfigurable optical add-drop multiplexer (ROADM) solutions, and various optical line systems designed for metro access, data center interconnect, regional, and long-haul/ultra-long-haul applications, complemented by submarine network capabilities. Additionally, through its Cloud and Network Services arm, Nokia develops business applications software, provides cloud and cognitive services, offers core networks software, and delivers tailored enterprise solutions. The Nokia Technologies division focuses on hardware, software, and services, in addition to licensing its extensive intellectual property, which includes patents, proprietary technologies, and the iconic Nokia brand. The company's diverse clientele includes communication service providers, webscale companies, hyperscalers, digital industries, and government organizations.
