The Siding division offers a comprehensive range of exterior finishing products, including the LP SmartSide and LP SmartSide ExpertFinish trim and siding lines, LP BuilderSeries lap siding, and LP Outdoor Building Solutions. It also produces engineered wood products designed for siding, trim, soffits, and fascia. The OSB segment specializes in the production and supply of structural panel products made from oriented strand board. Its notable offerings include LP TechShield radiant barriers, LP WeatherLogic air and water barriers, high-performance LP Legacy and LP TopNotch sub-flooring solutions, and LP FlameBlock fire-rated sheathing. The Engineered Wood Products (EWP) segment provides laminated veneer lumber and related items. It also manufactures LP SolidStart I-joists, which are vital structural components frequently employed in flooring systems for both homes and commercial properties, as well as in roofing applications and other construction uses. The South America segment is responsible for manufacturing and distributing OSB structural panels and siding products within the region. This segment also supports the local construction industry's move towards wood frame building by distributing and selling complementary products. Additionally, it manages timber assets and offers other associated products and services. Louisiana-Pacific Corporation primarily markets its offerings to retailers, wholesalers, and businesses engaged in homebuilding and industrial sectors.
