Hardware offerings include wireless access point products and the comprehensive ExtremeSwitching portfolio. This portfolio features access edge devices with standard Ethernet and various Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) options, including high-power universal PoE; aggregation/core switches for network backbone requirements; and data center switches and routers. The company also develops cloud-native platforms and applications tailored for service providers, alongside offering robust customer support and professional services. Its products are marketed and sold globally through distributors, resellers, and field sales organizations, serving diverse markets such as healthcare, education, government, manufacturing, retail, and hospitality. Incorporated in 1996, Extreme Networks, Inc. maintains its headquarters in Morrisville, North Carolina.
