Cutting implements fall under the Clauss brand. For outdoor and tactical applications, Camillus features fixed-blade and folding knives, sight-cutting devices, and tactical tools. Anglers benefit from Cuda, which provides fishing tools and knives, protective cut- and puncture-resistant gloves, telescopic landing nets, net containment systems, and fishing gaffs. Precision sharpening solutions are supplied by DMT. In the health and safety segment, First Aid Only delivers comprehensive first aid kits and safety provisions. Acme United employs a multi-channel distribution strategy, selling directly and through independent manufacturer representatives to a vast network. This includes wholesale, contract, and retail stationery distributors, large office supply stores, school supply channels, industrial distributors, wholesale florists, mass market and e-commerce retailers, and hardware chains. Founded in 1867 as Acme Shear Company, the corporation was renamed Acme United Corporation in 1971 and is headquartered in Shelton, Connecticut.
